Is the Homie Nasal Aspirator safe for newborns?

Yes — Homie is designed for use from birth. The silicone tip is extra-soft and ergonomically sized to fit newborn nostrils safely. It uses gentle manual suction, so you are in full control of the pressure at all times.

How often can I use it on my baby?

You can use Homie as often as needed — typically 2 to 4 times per day during a cold. Avoid excessive use to prevent nasal irritation. Always wash your hands and clean the device before and after each use.

How do I clean and sterilize the parts?

Disassemble all parts and rinse under warm running water after every use. All parts are dishwasher-safe (top rack) and can be boiled for up to 3 minutes for deep sterilization. Allow to fully air-dry before reassembling.

What is the difference between tip sizes S, M, and L?

Size S is designed for newborns (0–3 months), M fits infants 3–12 months, and L is suited for toddlers 12 months and older. Using the correct size ensures a gentle, effective seal without discomfort.

Does it make noise? Will it scare my baby?

Homie is 100% manual — no motors or suction pumps — so it is completely silent. Many babies fall asleep during use because it is so quiet and gentle.
